Professor Jean-Marie Jouannic, head of the foetal medicine department, presents the stages in the antenatal diagnosis carried out by his team as part of the activity of the Rare Disease Reference Centre for Vertebral and Medullary Malformations for patients whose foetus has been detected with a vertebral or medullary malformation.
The Rare Disease Reference Centre for Vertebral and Medullary Malformations specialises in the care of children with vertebral and medullary malformations during foetal life, the neonatal period and paediatric age, until they are transferred to adult care.
